This course will provide insight into ways to study the Bible and will suggest some tools with which to enhance your study. Charles methodically takes you step by step through various ways you should approach a study of the Bible.
LEVEL 2 REQUIREMENTS ● Memory Work: 23 verses. (due at mid-term) Prov. 22:6; Eph. 5:22-28; Eph. 6:1-4. (due at final exam) Deut. 6:4-9; Prov. 22:15; Eph. 4:29-32. ● Exams: Mid-term (after lesson 6). Final (at the end of the study). ● Grading Scale: Reading and Memory Work = 10% Two Exams = 90%
LEVEL 3 REQUIREMENTS ● Reading: Fantastic Families by Nick and Nancy Stinnett * Joe and Alice Beam. The Christian Home by Ken Wilson. ● Papers: Review each book in reading list with a 3-page evaluation. ● Memory work: (due at mid-term) Prov. 13:24; 22:16; Eph. 5:22-28; 6:1-4; Col. 3:18-21; Mt. 20:26-28; 1Cor. 7:10-16; Gal. 6:2,5; 1Pet. 3:1-7. (due at final exam) 1Th. 5:21,22; 1Cor. 6:9-11; Mal. 4:6; Jas. 4:7,8; Gal. 5:19-26; Rom. 1:24-27; Heb. 5:12-14; Phil. 2:3,4 ● Exams: All Self-Exam questions are to be completed. Mid-term (after lesson 6) & Final Exam (at the end of the study). ● Grading Scale: Reading and 3-page evaluation of each book = 20% Memory verses = 5% Mid-term and final exams = 75% |
